Features: In the book, President Roosevelt discusses advice on life paths for children, stories of life in the White House, literature and history, and also evaluates major historical events such as the construction of the Panama Canal. This not only helps readers understand the President's views on life, growth, career development, and living but also reveals unknown from his life. The book is accompanied by nearly 20 precious historical photographs. These letters are written to children, yet not just for children. The President treats them as equal individuals rather than mere children. The book is filled with laughter, kind protests, and valuable advice. It is not only entertaining but also thought-provoking. The equal and respectful relationship between the President and his children sets an example for today's family relationships and interpersonal communication. Most of the letters in this book were written by Theodore Roosevelt, the 26th President of the United States, to his children over more than two decades. Some others were written to his friends and relatives, also about children. He began writing these letters when his children were very young and continued to do so regularly until they grew up. Even when he couldn't be with his children (such as during the Spanish-American War, when he was out hunting, or when they were at school), he insisted on sending these letters full of thoughts and paternal love to them, because his children were always in his mind and heart. Even before his children could read, he wrote them "picture letters." Although the pictures used to convey the meaning were a bit rough, they perfectly matched their imagination and intellect. The children treasured these letters that brought them joy. This can be seen from the careful care they took of all the letters. They are in perfect condition. Although the letters included in the book were written at different times and addressed to children of different ages at home, there is very little repetition in their content.
