Features: Wang Ziping (1881–1973) was a renowned martial artist in China and the former Vice President of the China Wushu Association. He began learning martial arts at the age of six and mastered various styles of boxing. In terms of weapons and techniques, he had profound expertise in broadswords, spears, swords, staves, as well as grappling, striking, wrestling, soft skills, hard skills, and lightness skills. He was revered by the martial arts community as a versatile martial artist. At the same time, he was also a famous orthopedic expert. In medicine, he combined grappling techniques and bone-setting techniques to form a major of northern martial arts orthopedics—Wang's Orthopedics. This book selectively introduces three sets of boxing, all of which are the essence and representative works of Chaji boxing. Chaji boxing generally includes four major styles: Chai, Hua, Hong, and Pao. Beginners can choose any one of the four sets after completing "Dantui" and "Twenty Methods of Boxing." For example, one can start with the straightforward and direct "Dahongquan," followed by "Five Routes of Chajiquan" and "Three Routes of Paquan." Alternatively, one can begin with the more refined and fluid "Huaquan," followed by "Five Routes of Chajiquan," "Three Routes of Paquan," and "Dahongquan." Of course, one may also focus on just one or two sets.
