Features: Chinese painting is currently in a period of significant development, and publications about Chinese painters and their works are also experiencing a major boom. Among various collections of painters, using the birth era of the painters as the basis for selection and focusing on the outstanding figures of the same generation is indeed a fresh concept. As the ancient saying goes, "Each generation produces its own talent," it provides a concentrated perspective on the temporal "generation" and the artistic characteristics of a "generation" of talents. In my view, the main external problem is the negative impact of commodity values in market economic activities on art, which, while raising the overall level of Chinese painting, has also led to a widespread inclination toward the secular. The main internal problem lies in the imbalance, relaxation, and loss of academic standards in the art world, as well as the imitation and succession of artistic styles, the stagnation of painters, the imitation in creation that threatens originality, and the decline of the elite into mediocrity—all of which dissolve the intrinsic value of Chinese painting. Therefore, observing the artistic characteristics of emerging painters and understanding their creative strengths is of obvious significance for understanding the overall state of the art world. As for the personal traits of each individual, it is best left to the audience's subjective interpretations.
