Features: Electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) issues have evolved to the point where they must be resolved during the design phase, and quantitative calculations are no longer avoidable. This book applies electromagnetic field theory and numerical methods to quantitatively analyze and calculate EMC issues, which is an extremely urgent need in current teaching, research, and production. Building on a concise summary of the fundamental theories of electromagnetic fields and EMC, as well as various numerical calculation methods, the book focuses on introducing the research work conducted by the authors over the years in collaboration with practical problems. The guiding principle for writing is to ensure clear physical concepts and feasible methods, supplemented by examples and corresponding calculation programs (on accompanying CD), making it easier for readers to grasp. It also includes some methods not typically covered in conventional books, such as the time-domain finite element method and parallel algorithms. To date, no similar books have been published. The book consists of six chapters and two appendices (formulas and programs):
Chapter 1: EMC Principles and Modeling
Chapter 2: Numerical Calculation Methods for EMC Problems
Chapter 3: Multi-Conductor Transmission Lines and Interference
Chapter 4: Analysis of Low-Frequency Electromagnetic Interference
Chapter 5: Analysis of High-Frequency Electromagnetic Interference
Chapter 6: Analysis of Pulse Electromagnetic Interference
This book can serve as a textbook for senior undergraduate and graduate students in electrical engineering, as well as a reference for university teachers, engineering and technical personnel, and researchers (including those in high-voltage, low-voltage, EMC, and construction industries).
