Features: This book is based on the Simplified Chinese version of AutoCAD 2005 and is the first comprehensive introduction to the application of AutoCAD in pressure vessel design. The book is divided into 10 chapters. Chapter 1, "Pressure Vessel Drawing Environment," primarily introduces the most important new feature of AutoCAD 2005, "Creating Tables," as well as the characteristics of pressure vessel drawings in China and the creation process of the "Pressure Vessel Drawing Template." Chapter 2, "Building My Library," primarily introduces the necessary templates, bill of materials, nozzles table, design data table, and two forms of "Technical Requirements" and "Graphic Symbols" for pressure vessel design, reserving resources for "modular design." Chapters 3 to 8 respectively introduce horizontal vessels, tower vessels (floating valve tower, packed tower), shell-and-tube heat exchangers (fixed head type, U-tube type, floating head type), spherical storage tanks, high-pressure vessels, and reaction vessels. The book provides the design drawing process for 9 fixed pressure vessels of various structures and types. Chapter 9, "Parts Drawings," gives drawing techniques and methods for 7 parts. Chapter 10, "Graphical Printing and Output," introduces page setup, options, and printing settings in AutoCAD 2005. In the overview before each type of vessel drawing, design considerations will be provided; during the software drawing process, design, editing, and modification of the vessel structure and dimensions will be carried out; and in the summary of each chapter, relevant knowledge will be given.
