The barren and desolate lands connected by the Great Wall, and the Great Wall stretching endlessly westward across this land, make me love it to the point of heartache. I cannot simply play the role of a carefree tourist. My heartbeat resonates so perfectly with the rhythm of the Great Wall heading west. I must go to seek it, get close to it, worship it, commemorate it, and protect it. Keep walking, walking on the Great Wall, walking alongside my former "rival."
