Features: This book is compiled based on the newly announced "National Master's Entrance Examination English Syllabus" (for non-English majors) and the postgraduate entrance examination English test papers from 1994 to 2006. Following this principle, the author conducts statistical analysis of the frequency of word occurrences in cloze tests, reading comprehension (including new question types from 2005 and 2006), and translation from 1994 to 2006 (the basis for the statistics is detailed in the "User Guide" of this book). The words are categorized according to their repetition frequency and divided into syllabus words and extra-syllabus words based on the new English examination syllabus. All words in this book are arranged in descending order of their frequency of appearance in past test papers, which helps in efficient memorization in the shortest time. Through this memorization method, candidates can not only grasp the question-setting logic of the examiners but also identify frequently tested "hot words" (words that appear repeatedly in past test papers) and rarely tested "cold words" based on the test papers. Additionally, all words that have appeared in the test papers are accompanied by example sentences from the actual tests for interpretation. Each different part of speech and meaning of the words that have been tested is paired with a corresponding example sentence from the test papers, allowing candidates to focus on the most essential forms and meanings to memorize, rather than wasting time on words and meanings outside the scope of the exam requirements. Beyond the words you already know, the next priority is to memorize the most essential ones. Only in this way can you make the best use of your time and energy. Candidates can choose to memorize based on their own circumstances to avoid unnecessary effort. Since postgraduate review time is precious, it is hoped that candidates will master the high-frequency vocabulary thoroughly. Spending the same amount of time and effort on memorizing this vocabulary will result in a much higher success rate in the exam compared to other traditional postgraduate vocabulary books. This book is available in two versions: a close-reading version (16K) and a memorization version (48K). The close-reading version is suitable for candidates to conduct in-depth review and study, while the memorization version is designed for easy carrying and frequent recitation. These two versions cater to different time periods and locations, making it easy to conquer postgraduate vocabulary with both in hand!
