Features: Crimes against the order of social administration are one of the largest categories in China's criminal law. They encompass a wide range of content and are closely related to various aspects of social life. The current Criminal Law of the People's Republic of China has made significant additions, modifications, and adjustments to the provisions on crimes against the order of social administration in the 1979 Criminal Law. New crimes have been added, the constitutive elements of certain crimes have been altered, the statutory penalties for some crimes have been revised, and the classification of certain specific crimes has been adjusted. These additions, modifications, and adjustments have given rise to numerous new issues, in addition to unresolved problems that have long existed. As a result, crimes against the order of social administration have become a category of crimes with a large number of new and complex issues requiring research.
Although many scholars have studied crimes against the order of social administration since the implementation of the current Criminal Law, and a substantial body of research has been produced, existing studies are either related to specific crimes within the category or focus on a particular aspect or section of these crimes. To date, comprehensive and systematic in-depth research on this category of crimes remains lacking, which cannot be considered a minor shortcoming in the field of criminal law theory. To fill this gap, we have organized the writing of this book.
