To enable readers to learn and draw lessons from the wisdom of the ancients, to study the crystallization of wisdom left by the sages and masters, and to promote the excellent culture of the Chinese nation, the compilers of this book have gathered eight highly collectible and significant military classics—Sun Tzu's Art of War, Zhuge Liang's Art of War, Six's Art of War, Wu Liaozi's Art of War, Li Jing's Art of War, Wu Zi's Art of War, Sun Bin's Art of War, and Sima Qian's Art of War—into this book.
