Features: The origin of Chinese banknotes dates back a long way, with a history of over nine hundred years. According to research, China is one of the earliest countries to use paper money. With a long history and a large number of banknotes, Chinese banknotes have witnessed historical progress, recorded economic booms and busts, and reflected social livelihoods. The historical and collectible value of banknotes continues to grow with the passage of time and changes in eras. Finding joy in research and summarizing patterns from collecting can complement each other, allowing collectors to continuously improve their expertise and appreciation skills. Collecting banknotes inevitably involves economics, and collectors typically pursue their collections through the following three methods: 1. Funding the collection with ticket sales. 2. Supplementing the collection with income from other sources. 3. Acquiring them as investments. However, the market value of banknote collections fluctuates and changes significantly, making it difficult to define and grasp. Based on suggestions and assistance from numerous banknote collectors, the main feature of this series of catalogs is their close alignment with the market, aiming to provide relatively objective and accurate price references for fellow collectors. The arrangement of this series of catalogs prioritizes era, with type as a secondary consideration. It includes content such as Qing Dynasty banknotes, the banknotes of the four major national banks during the Republic of China period, the banknotes of provincial local banks during the Republic of China period, commercial banknotes, foreign merchant notes, banknotes of the Japanese and puppet regimes, and military-use banknotes. The combination of images, data, and text is designed to assist readers.
