Features: As the saying goes, "Familiar with the Tang poems after reading three hundred, even if you can't write poems, you will be able to recite them." This shows the importance of recitation. Referring to the Chinese textbooks for primary and secondary schools and the recommended ancient poetry recitation list by the Ministry of Education, while taking into account the reading interests of children and adolescents, we have meticulously compiled this series of "Children's Recitation Books." The aim is to provide some assistance for primary and secondary school students in learning ancient poetry, idioms, famous quotes, and the "Four Books" and "Five Classics," thereby broadening their knowledge, opening their horizons, and enhancing their cultural literacy. The selected works are mostly renowned masterpieces passed down through generations, rich in rhythm, easy to recite, accompanied by colorful illustrations, and annotated. Phonetic symbols are added based on modern Mandarin pronunciation, and ancient pronunciation is appropriately marked according to meaning and rhyme. Adjustments for tone changes (excluding idioms) and light tones are also made according to relevant standards, making it easier for students to recite and also helpful for parents to guide their children.
