Features: The prescribed repertoire in vocal examinations serves as a standard for assessing results. Developing a relatively scientific and practical set of examination regulations is a rigorous and meticulous task. With the advancement of society and the accumulation of practical experience, this work must be continuously refined. Since the first publication of this collection in 2000, we have received some feedback, some from the perspective of assessment and others from the perspective of teaching. Based on these suggestions and in conjunction with the current realities of examinations, we have once again organized relevant experts to make substantial revisions and additions to this collection. The repertoire in this edition has undergone significant changes compared to previous versions. During the revision process, we considered the timeliness and artistic quality of the songs, removing some that no longer aligned with the contemporary atmosphere and adding works with a modern touch. Some pieces have been replaced with more artistically significant classical songs from both China and abroad. When selecting foreign songs, we prioritized those that are suitable for children's physiological and psychological characteristics in the beginner and intermediate levels, followed by their classic and popular nature. In the intermediate to advanced levels, the emphasis gradually shifted to artistic quality and technical complexity, such as selecting songs with more semitones. In the advanced levels, we have included the original lyrics to help singers better appreciate the humanistic essence of these songs during performance.
