Against the backdrop of diverse cultural trends colliding and blending, he remained steadfastly committed to cultural creation, dissemination, and activities, making pioneering or outstanding contributions in numerous academic and cultural fields. In poetry, Guo Moruo demonstrated exceptional talent. His poetic inspiration, ignited by the flames of the May Fourth Movement, surged like a volcano, unstoppable once unleashed. The role of poetry is to awaken the consciousness and awakening of a generation, to ignite passion, and to provide the determination and courage for struggle from a spiritual perspective. Goddesses is precisely from this perspective, and it has received almost unanimous praise in the nearly century-long history of poetry. It is like the lightning of a new era, resembling a thunderclap that tears through the dark night. With an unrestrained and flamboyant personality, agile and sensitive inspiration, burning and fervent passion, bold and fantastical imagination, solemn and rich colors, and melodies that shift between urgency and relaxation, it calls forth and gives birth to the coming of a new world. "It is not so much that you have poetic talent as that you have a poetic soul, for every one of your poems is your blood, your tears, your autobiography, your confessional record!" However, the fragrant wood on Danxue Mountain not only burned the poet's old body but also destroyed the forms of all the young people of the present moment.
