Features: In the southern tourist destination Shuangyue Bay, an individual business owner named Ji Chengguang was murdered. Shortly after, another female performance artist died under mysterious circumstances. The provincial, municipal, and county-level public security organs conducted multiple investigations into the case but yielded no results. Under the push from the People's Congress, the Shuangyue procuratorial organ launched a supervision investigation into the case. Hidden adversaries engaged in fierce confrontation, with some investigators being corrupted by money and others defeated by beauty. The involved parties and witnesses either went mad, disappeared, or were victimized. Due to differing perspectives and vested interests, conflicts and confrontations also arose among high-ranking figures. During the supervision, the young prosecutor Jiang Li met Cao Fang, a female police officer who had recently graduated from university. Their mutual admiration and shared values brought them together. To uphold justice, they bravely and tenaciously fought against the evil forces. As the net of law was about to close, the main perpetrator's gun was aimed at them.
