Features: Zhang Zongzong grew up in his hometown, saw his grandfather's poetry manuscripts, and found a poem in response to the works of Wang Gong of Xincheng. He learned that Wang Gong and his elder brother, the Imperial Examiner Xishan, were close friends of his grandfather, while his uncle, the Dongting, was also a scholar whom his grandfather had selected during an imperial examination. He secretly admired them. Later, when serving by his father's side, he heard from guests that the three Wangs of Xincheng were renowned, especially Wang Gong as the poetic master of Haiyin. He suggested compiling a collection of poetry discussions to aid in understanding. I humbly agreed. Once, sitting alone in the, he sighed deeply, tears welling in his eyes, realizing the reason for this. Wang Shizhen (1634-1711) was a Qing Dynasty poet, prose writer, and poetry theorist. His courtesy name was Zizhen, also known as Yishang, styled Runting, and later as Yuyang Mountain Man. He was from Xincheng (now part of Shandong). He wrote over 1,000 poems in his lifetime. His extensive works were all collected in the Daijing Tang Collection.
