Features: This textbook is based on the "Basic Requirements for University Physics Experiment Courses in Non-Physics Majors" (Official Report Draft) published by the Teaching Guidance Committee of Physics Foundation Courses for Non-Physics Majors in Higher Education Institutions of the Ministry of Education in December 2004, drawing on the achievements of physics experiment teaching reforms at home and abroad in the 21st century, and incorporating the long-term teaching and experimental experience of Beijing Technology and Business University. The book is divided into seven chapters, with one chapter dedicated to fundamental experiments, comprehensive experiments, design experiments, and research experiments, respectively. This structure allows students to gradually learn to independently design experiments and carry out research-oriented experimental work after completing a certain number of fundamental and comprehensive experiments, thereby cultivating their independent experimental skills, analytical and research abilities, and innovative capabilities. This book is intended for use as a foundational physics experiment textbook for engineering majors and applied physics programs in higher education institutions, and can also serve as a reference for foundational physics experiments in other disciplines.
