Features: Editing the book "Liu Shaoqi Through My Eyes" has been our long-standing aspiration. Since early in his life, Comrade Liu Shaoqi devoted everything to the liberation cause of the Chinese people. To let more people understand the deeds, work, and life of Comrade Liu Shaoqi, and to provide revolutionary tradition education for people, especially the youth, we selected over 70 recollections or excerpts from a wealth of press and publication materials. The authors are his relatives, old friends, comrades, colleagues, as well as cadres, secretaries, doctors, and guards who worked alongside him, even workers, farmers, and soldiers who had contact with him. Through their eyes, we reflect the various aspects of Comrade Liu Shaoqi's work, study, and life from different perspectives. Based on personal experiences, observations, and hearsay, the book brings readers a heartfelt and vivid portrayal of this remarkable individual.
