Features: To meet the needs of Chinese university students who have completed the basic stage of English learning and wish to further improve their English proficiency, our press has selected four textbooks from Cambridge University Press. After introduction, these textbooks have been compiled into the "University Target English" series, aiming to guide students in higher-level English learning and train them on how to listen, read, take notes, think, and discuss more effectively when encountering challenging English texts, as well as how to complete writing tasks required in studies or exams. "English Learning Methods" is one of the textbooks in this series, helping students develop learning skills and improve their study methods, including comprehensive skills, specialized skills, and specific applications.
★ The comprehensive skills section primarily introduces how to enhance learning efficiency based on individual cognitive characteristics and how to analyze and solve various learning problems.
★ The specialized skills section primarily introduces how to find the information needed in a vast array of literature, how to extract and utilize large amounts of spoken or written English information in a short time, such as taking notes, discussing issues, conducting research, and how to prepare for exams.
★ The specific applications section focuses on topics such as urban transportation, contemporary social crime phenomena, communication and media, as well as how to improve learning ability in practice through discussions with teachers, self-testing, and time planning.
★ The student textbook includes appendices and index materials, while the teacher textbook provides detailed introductions to the features of the student textbook, as well as teaching suggestions, answers, and complete audio materials for each unit, to facilitate the use of both teachers and students.
