Features: In the compilation of this textbook, we adhere to the training objectives of the 8-year clinical medicine program. Compared to the original 7-year program textbook, we strive to highlight the following characteristics:
1. Emphasizing advancement: On the basis of adhering to the "Three Basics" and "Five Qualities," we highlight the latest advancements in research in the field of neurology in recent years. In terms of topic selection, considering the new changes in the current disease spectrum, we have added coverage of increasingly prevalent diseases domestically and internationally. In each chapter, we introduce the latest domestic and international research findings on etiology, pathogenesis, diagnostic techniques, and treatment methods. The concepts of evidence-based medicine and standardized treatment are integrated throughout the textbook.
2. Emphasizing practicality: This textbook maintains the systematic and comprehensive nature of a textbook while emphasizing close integration with clinical practice.
3. Emphasizing readability: Since the textbook content involves a significant amount of anatomical and physiological knowledge, to facilitate students' understanding and memorization, we have added numerous illustrations. We have meticulously drawn 118 diagrams in faint colors and line drawings, along with 35 color tables. The content is rich in visuals, with intuitive charts and standardized legends. At the end of each chapter, we provide key references, and at the end of the entire book, we include English-Chinese and English-Chinese indexes to facilitate further study and allow readers to quickly locate specific content or concepts.
