Can women with candidal vaginitis get pregnant?

Patient's question:

I have candidiasis vaginitis. Can I get pregnant? Or must I be treated first before getting pregnant? I have been treated for it before, but it seems to have recurred now. Is it because my husband didn't get treated as well?
First follow-up question: Thank you for your answer! But regarding "Is it because my husband didn't get treated as well?"—it seems that part hasn't been addressed yet! Please provide an update, thank you!
I also have another question: If my husband needs to be tested for infection, what should be checked? If he is found to be infected, will it affect pregnancy?

Doctor's answer:

Candidal vulvovaginitis can be treated by rinsing the external genitalia with baking soda water, using nystatin vaginal suppositories, and taking oral itraconazole and ketoconazole. After one course of treatment, a fungal test should be negative. Subsequent follow-up tests for fungi should also be negative after each menstrual cycle. Continuous consolidation treatment for three more courses is required to be considered cured. During treatment, sexual intercourse should be avoided, and underwear should be changed, washed daily, and boiled for disinfection. It is also recommended that the male partner receive concurrent treatment, taking nystatin tablets for one week. Shoes and socks should be washed separately from underwear. Otherwise, recurrence is likely. The reasons for recurrence are generally incomplete treatment and reinfection from the sexual partner.
