Is it normal for yellow fluid to reflux after BBT protein self-clotting surgery?

Patient's question:

Hello:
I was diagnosed with cervical erosion of degree 2, along with candidiasis and chlamydia infection, during a hospital check-up six months ago. After undergoing microwave treatment and medication, the candidiasis and chlamydia infections have been cured, but the cervical erosion has not improved. Later, I went to another hospital and had the BBT protein coagulation surgery for cervical erosion a week ago. After the surgery, I received three days of intravenous drip for anti-inflammatory treatment. The doctor said it would last for 4-5 days with yellow discharge. Now, a week later, it is still discharging, and I still feel uncomfortable in my lower abdomen, as well as very tired and weak. I don’t know if it’s inflammation in the cervical area or if it’s normal.

Doctor's answer:

Around one week after the general cervical coagulation knife surgery, there may be a small amount of bleeding and discharge. This is normal. If you started experiencing discharge three days after the surgery, it is also normal. This is mainly due to physical stimulation causing an increase in cervical mucus. Most bleeding occurs during the shedding of the crust. Since you haven't experienced bleeding yet, it means you haven't shed the crust or there is no vascular damage during shedding. Therefore, this is also normal. Don't worry, just monitor the situation. If there are any abnormal symptoms, it is recommended to go to the hospital for a check-up. Regular follow-up is also important.
