Hello, implantation of a fertilized egg outside the uterine cavity is called ectopic pregnancy, commonly known as ectopic pregnancy. Ectopic pregnancy is classified based on the site of implantation of the fertilized egg outside the uterine cavity: fallopian tube pregnancy, ovarian pregnancy, abdominal pregnancy, broad ligament pregnancy, and cervical pregnancy. Among these, fallopian tube pregnancy is the most common.(1) General condition: Related to the amount of intra-abdominal bleeding, including anemia, shock, etc.
(2) Abdominal examination: Significant tenderness and rebound tenderness, shifting dullness, and palpable masses in the lower abdomen.
(3) Pelvic examination:
① The vagina often contains a small amount of blood from the uterine cavity.
② The uterus is slightly enlarged and somewhat soft.
③ The posterior fornix of the vagina is full and tender.
④ The cervix may be tender to elevation or movement, one of the main signs of fallopian tube pregnancy. When there is excessive internal bleeding, the uterus may feel buoyant during examination.
⑤ Tenderness is palpable in one adnexal area.
