Features: Now that we have entered the 21st century, what can we do together to improve our national quality? We believe that the calligraphy book can no longer meet the requirements. Therefore, with the spirit of exploration and research, and with the aim of providing a model for the application of English calligraphy, we have compiled and excerpted parts of the history of English calligraphy, collected the masterpieces of contemporary English calligraphers, summarized the writing techniques of major scripts, and presented various artistic fonts. We have compiled this book, "English Calligraphy Models," to accumulate substantial materials for further research and provide a basis for the study and application of teachers and students, English calligraphy enthusiasts, and art workers.
The history of calligraphy, collected from contemporary English calligraphy, holds a position not as important as Eastern calligraphy, but it does not mean it has no place at all. English calligraphy has a long history and a process of development and change, as well as important calligraphers, representative works, and specialized research organizations. As a member of the Western alphabet family, English is closely related to other Western scripts, so there are many similarities between English calligraphy forms and other Western scripts. In fact, the names of some English scripts use the names of regions, such as the Italic script in English.
