Features: The 21st century has arrived. As a child music worker, how can we continue and develop new music with Chinese musical culture characteristics? The new era has put forward higher requirements to us. In improving students' quality and cultivating all-round talents for the 21st century, the role of art education is crucial. In China's "Full-time Primary and Middle School Music Teaching Syllabus for Nine-Year Compulsory Education" and the recently promulgated "Music Curriculum Standards," instrumental music teaching has been determined as one of the content areas of primary and middle school music education. This is a major reform in China's music education. The flute is one of the popular and widely used instruments in schools, loved by most primary and secondary school students. This book selects the traditional Chinese six-hole flute as the teaching instrument because it is easily accepted by most students, especially the 80% of rural, mountainous, and pastoral children who account for the total student population. Additionally, many students who are introduced to flute playing can later switch to the transverse flute in higher grades. The transverse flute has the same fingerings as the six-hole flute, and mastering it only requires overcoming the blowing technique. Through practice, thousands of students in Shanghai have already participated in the Shanghai Flute Amateur Examination after learning, and the enthusiasm for learning national instruments continues to grow.
