Features: The > symbol issued in 2001 and the > symbol issued in 2003 both explicitly proposed the concept of utilizing and developing curriculum resources. The essence of this concept is to use all available resources to serve our educational and teaching activities. From the perspective of openness and sustainable development, this concept represents a significant advancement compared to the original teaching requirements and models. For educators, it means placing our service in a broader context—just as adding more windows to a classroom, allowing students more sunlight and fresher, more natural air. For learners, it means enabling them to see the blue sky even while staring at the teacher's chalk dust, helping them recognize the environment early on, and shifting their focus from textbooks to the broader society and life. Without a doubt, rich educational and teaching resources are an invaluable "living source" for inquiry-based and research-based learning. Before embarking on the compilation of this series, we had already experienced the immense benefits of utilizing and developing teaching resources for teaching work. Faced with various newspapers and magazines, the bustling internet, abundant book resources, and diverse teaching software and courseware, we felt we were not alone, and our textbooks no longer seemed dull. Instead, we found our teaching lives filled with vitality, enthusiasm, joy, and challenges. Especially when we integrate the resources we possess with those of our students and witness the spark of synergy, a sense of accomplishment and happiness arises. The color of our lives depends on our perspective toward life. When we look far and wide, we gain much and experience fulfillment and abundance. A desire to share our joy with others motivates us to begin compiling this series of books. The entire series is divided into eight volumes: Language, Mathematics, English, Physics, Chemistry, History, Geography, and Biology. Each volume consists of three main parts.
Part 1: An introduction to the curriculum itself and a brief interpretation of the new curriculum standards;
Part 2: A concise overview of the curriculum content and related knowledge, along with relevant resources;
Part 3: An index of reference books, websites, books, audio-visual materials, and other resources, as well as commonly used related data.
The concept of curriculum resources is very broad, and the resources discussed in our "resource library" represent only a small part of it. We hope this series can serve as a catalyst, encouraging everyone to pay attention to the collection and organization of teaching resources, to enrich our teaching resources, and to transform our environment. By leveraging the curriculum itself as the driving force, we aim to accelerate the demise of exam-oriented education.
This series references the names and relevant information of numerous books, audio-visual materials, and websites. Due to time constraints, limited experience, and varying sources, errors and omissions are inevitable. We kindly request understanding and corrections from all relevant parties.
Teaching resources are updated rapidly, so this series will be regularly revised. Please share your suggestions and feedback—we would greatly appreciate it.
