What is cervical inflammation

Patient's question:

I am 25 years old and have suffered from severe cervical inflammation for the past two or three years. Due to my infertility, the doctor has always advised against physical therapy. In July of this year, I had a cervical smear test, and the results showed no abnormal cells.
What I want to ask is, why do I experience slight bleeding after each menstrual period when I have sex with my husband, and it stops after one or two days. If I go to the hospital for a check-up, what kind of tests should I have? Additional question: It's because physical therapy is related to the doctor's skill that I dare not proceed rashly.
Since discovering the condition, I have been undergoing medication treatment. I have a disease.

Doctor's answer:

Chronic cervicitis is one of the most common diseases among women. It often develops from acute cervicitis and is more prevalent in married women who are physically frail. The cause is typically the invasion of bacteria due to damage to the cervix during sexual intercourse or childbirth.
Increased vaginal discharge is its main symptom, usually appearing as viscous or purulent mucus, sometimes with blood or post-coital bleeding. Secondary symptoms include vulvar itching, lower abdominal or lumbosacral pain, which worsens during sexual intercourse, menstruation, and defecation.
