Can frequent miscarriages occur?

Patient's question:

Detailed medical history and consultation purpose: I had a medication-induced abortion in January 2005 and another induced abortion at the end of May 2005. Both times, my rest period was very short, only two days. Now I have discovered I am pregnant again, but it is not suitable for me to have a child right now. Can I still have a medication-induced abortion? Will it lead to infertility??? I am terrified and very conflicted.

Doctor's answer:

Cervical injury is one of the risks of painless abortion: During the process of dilating the cervix, if not done carefully or if the dilation speed is too fast, it can cause damage to the cervix. This is particularly common among women who are pregnant for the first time or have not given birth yet.
Bacterial Infiltration: If the instruments are not properly sterilized, or if the abortion procedure is not performed in a sterile environment, it can lead to various gynecological infections. In severe cases, it can result in infertility, which is another risk of painless abortion.
