Features: Emerging from the May Fourth Movement, Chinese New Literature can be seen as a strategic breakthrough for the wisdom of the Chinese nation in the modern context. Whether in terms of discourse content or literary form, it represents a radical turn in the long history of literature. This transformation gave rise to a generation of literary giants and a series of masterpieces. Departing from the old traditions of self-expression and moral instruction, New Literature wholeheartedly embraced the path of enlightening the masses and cultivating individuals. That period, filled with anxiety and frustration, as well as clamor and hope, itself stands as a fascinating chapter. "Mingdian Bookstore" focuses on the timeless works of modern masters, selecting artistic treasures that hold both high reading value and profound humanistic significance. Each volume features the personal creative works of individual authors, with plans to release them in separate series. Since the mid-1980s, our publishing house has compiled and published over two hundred collections of modern writers. We have previously produced series such as the Complete Works of Modern Classic Writers, the Century Literary Archives, and Modern Texts, among other modern literary anthologies. Along the way, we have been fortunate to receive dedicated support from scholars, including Qian Liqun and others.
