Features: The "Collection of Multilateral Treaties of the People's Republic of China" Volumes I to IV were published in 1987, V, VI, and VII were published in 1993, 1994, and 2001, respectively. This book is Volume VIII. This volume includes 33 multilateral treaties to which China participated from 1998 to 2001, as well as 1 treaty that was omitted from Volume VI of the "Collection of Multilateral Treaties of the People's Republic of China." The treaties are arranged in chronological order of signature. For treaties on telecommunications, postal services, and maritime transport that China participated in during the aforementioned period, considering that such treaties are generally highly technical, frequently revised, and published as separate or combined volumes in a timely manner by the telecommunications, postal, and transportation sectors, this volume does not include them due to space constraints. For the convenience of readers, we have included a summary table of the 34 treaties in Volume VIII and a directory index listing all 232 treaties and their amendments included in the "Collection of Multilateral Treaties of the People's Republic of China" up to Volume VII.
