Features: "The Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT)" is a global examination organized by the Japan Foundation and the Japan Educational Exchanges and Services. It holds absolute authority, and the certificates obtained are recognized both domestically and internationally. The test levels are sequentially divided into Level 4, Level 3, and Level 1, with Level 4 being the foundation and Level 1 being the highest. The exam content is divided into three parts: "Vocabulary," "Listening Comprehension," and "Reading Comprehension & Grammar." This book is designed for Level 1 and Level 2 candidates to study and master "Grammar." The features of this book are as follows:
1. A "Grammar Sentence Pattern Learning Section" is included. The "JLPT Question Setting Guidelines" published by the Japan Foundation and the Japan Educational Exchanges and Services require that Level 1 and Level 2 grammar scores must both reach 72 points; Level 1 candidates must master 99 grammar sentence patterns, while Level 2 candidates must master 170. Based on this requirement, we have compiled and analyzed the grammar sentence patterns for both levels.
2. A "Grammar Sentence Pattern Practice Section" is included. Following the grammar question types and the volume of questions for Level 1 and Level 2, we have created 15 mock tests for each level. This is intended to help candidates improve their understanding and application skills through self-assessment training, ultimately achieving genuine improvement in their Japanese proficiency and successfully passing the Level 1 and Level 2 exams.
3. A "Level 1/2 Grammar Exam Guide" is included. To help candidates understand the methods and pathways for taking the exam, we have specifically introduced and compared the question types from the past two years' grammar exams in the introductory chapters, considering the scope and difficulty of the Level 1 and Level 2 questions.
4. An appendix includes "Full Past Papers for Level 1 and Level 2 Grammar," aiming to provide candidates with an understanding of the changes in the JLPT's grammar section over the years, as well as a comprehensive and overall grasp of the exam content, thereby preparing them mentally and grammatically for the test.
5. Appendix 2, "Index of Level 1/2 Grammar Colloquial Sentence Patterns," lists the specific grammar sentence patterns that appeared in the past papers, along with the dates and frequencies of their appearance.
