The "Complete Encyclopedia" won the First Prize of the Excellent Book Award from the State Petroleum and Chemical Industry Administration, the First Prize of the Chemical Industry Science and Technology Progress Award, the First Prize of the National Excellent Science and Technology Book Award and Science and Technology Progress Award (Science and Technology Works), and the highest honor of the Fourth National Book Award—the Honorary Award—in 1998–1999.
