Features: The "Essentials of the Lotus Sutra" and "The Platform Sutra of the Tiantai School" included in this book were originally serialized in the Buddhist journal "Weiyin." Among them, "The Platform Sutra of the Tiantai School" is a detailed exposition of the teachings of the Tiantai school, presenting profound yet accessible content that serves as a key to mastering Tiantai. The original text was compiled by Shen Xingru based on the records of Master Gu Jingyuan's "Tiantai Lectures." In recent years, Wu Xinru and others have revised and organized the content and text according to the later teachings of Master Gu, adding subheadings, annotations, and punctuation. Additionally, appendices such as Wu Xinru's "Exploring the Mysteries of the Tiantai School" are included, with the overall title "The Profound Meaning of the Lotus Sutra." This book is an excellent specialized work that promotes the Tiantai (Lotus) school.
