It analyzes and describes the socio-economic characteristics and production conditions of the eight natural economic regions in Northeast, North China, Central China, South China, Mongolia, Northwest, Southwest, and Tibet from different perspectives such as productivity levels, industrial sectors, economic ties between regions, natural environmental conditions, ethnic conditions and social customs, historical inheritance, and political factors, outlining the socio-economic patterns and the basic economic features of each region.
