A Comprehensive History of Western Philosophy (Volume 1)

Author: Zhu Desheng (Editor-in-Chief) / Zhao Dunhua
Publisher:
Publishing Date: 1996-09-01
Features: The majority of the materials cited in this volume are translated from foreign books by myself. Considering the fact that many classic philosophical works have different editions and translations, and domestic readers may find it difficult to locate the specific edition or translation I used, the citations of classic works are marked only with standard page numbers or the titles of chapters, volumes, sections, and articles for readers to verify and further read the original texts. For citations from the monographs of domestic and foreign researchers, page numbers are indicated. The citation styles for the two types of references are different, which is an unavoidable practice for the convenience of readers.
