Features: Mr. Wen Yiduo, originally named Yiduo, also known as Jiahua, was born on November 24, 1899, in a scholarly family in Xiahe River, Xishui County, Hubei Province. His father was a scholar in the late Qing Dynasty. At the age of five, Wen Yiduo entered a private academy to receive traditional Confucian education while also beginning to learn about "new learning." In 1910, he studied at the affiliated high primary school of Wulu Normal School in Wuchang. The following year, the Xinhai Revolution broke out, and he bravely cut off his queue to express his support for the revolution.
