Features: Feng Shunhua, female, born in June 1934, professor and doctoral supervisor, currently serving as an advisor to the Comparative Economic Systems Research Center at Liaoning University. She has long been engaged in teaching and research on the world economy and comparative economic systems. She also serves as the vice president of the China Society of World Economy and the vice chair of the Liaoning and Shenyang Philosophical and Social Sciences Association. From 1988 to 1989, she studied as a senior visiting scholar in Poland, collaborating with the Institute of World Economy at the Warsaw School of Economics on comparative economic systems research. She has edited works such as The World Economy (co-editor), An Introduction to the Pricing Systems of the Soviet Union and Eastern Europe, and Comparative Studies on Economic and Technological Transformation of Countries with Different Types. She also co-authored Comparative Economic Systems with Cheng Wei. In the past decade, she has tracked the transition of former Soviet and Eastern European countries to a market economy, publishing dozens of papers in national and provincial-level journals. Among them, On the Economic Transition of Countries in Transition won the Second Prize of the World Economy Excellent Paper Award from 1997 to 1998. Some Issues in the East European Model of Market Economy Transition was published in the national English edition of The World Economy, facilitating exchanges with the international academic community. She is currently leading the key research project International Comparisons of Economic Transition under Liaoning University's "Project 211" initiative. Additionally, she serves as the principal investigator for the key project Comparative Studies on Economic Transition in China, Russia, and Eastern European Countries, which is being submitted to the Ministry of Education.
