Publishing Date: 2002-06-01
Features: With the global economy entering the information age, e-commerce is also developing rapidly, and the issue of e-commerce legislation has become urgent. To promote the application and development of e-commerce in China and help readers better understand the current status and development of international e-commerce legislation, we have collected materials on e-commerce legislation from countries and regions such as the United Nations Commission on International Trade Law (UNCITRAL), the United States, Australia, Singapore, the European Union, and Hong Kong. These materials, including the "Model Law on Electronic Commerce and its Promulgation Guide" and the "Model Law on Electronic Signatures" adopted by UNCITRAL in 1996 and 2001, have been translated, organized, and compiled into this book. We believe that this book will provide valuable references for various enterprises that have already engaged in or are planning to engage in e-commerce, as well as for the development of e-commerce legislation in China.
