1. China should have such a library: First, its intrinsic quality can stand the test of time; second, it belongs to a beautifully printed small-format popular series, with low prices to truly consider the bookshelves of the common people.
2. The library's collection should include such writers: Their works need not be called "contemporary classics," but they can be described as "turning their heads toward classics"; even in the future digital literary history, they will at least be symbols that cannot be overlooked by the blinking cursor, and parts that cannot be deleted.
3. Considering the irreplaceable role of time in selection, the general requirement for selected writers is a "literary age" of over twenty years. Once selected, their entire works will be published in stages.
4. In the rise and fall of culture and art time and again, they have become profound literary islands through their tenacious exploration, forming their own positive and noble spiritual temperament and artistic style.
5. Examined on the global cultural map, it can be seen that their creations are rooted in the East, and their works show a clear inheritance relationship with the outstanding national culture.
-In the current literary scene of clamor and chaos, we express our cultural responsibility and artistic confidence through the above understanding.
-This library's doors are further opening, and its threshold is also being raised: All of this ambition relies on our decades-long perseverance and effort, and even more on the close cooperation of all writers and readers.
