Although their homes weren’t far from the sea, over the course of more than a year, people had forgotten about the sea. There was no fish in the pot, no shrimp in the bowl, and the little hunter was starving. Only an old man lived far from the village, alone by the sea. His shack was just a few meters away from the watermarks left by high tide. On the beach, a small, pointed-roof shack looked so lonely. A little broken boat was a bit away from the shack, and its hull was always covered with clutter.
