Frequent fetal movement, go to oxygen therapy or frequent is normal?

Patient's question:

I would like to ask if there are any moms who have passed the fetal monitoring test but have frequent fetal movements. Yesterday, I did oxygen therapy and the fetal movements returned to normal. Today, I felt the fetal movements were frequent again, and doing oxygen therapy still didn't reduce the frequency of fetal movements.

Doctor's answer:

There are two very active peaks of fetal movement in a day, with frequent kicks. One occurs between 7 and 9 a.m., and the other between 11 p.m. and 1 a.m. the next morning. There is individual variation among babies, and each has its own pattern. Especially in the morning, fetal movement tends to be relatively less active. The general rule is that there should be no fewer than 3 to 5 movements per hour, and approximately 30 to 40 movements every 12 hours. However, due to the significant individual differences in fetuses, some may move around 100 times in 12 hours. As long as the fetal movement is regular, rhythmic, and does not vary greatly, it proves that the fetus is growing and developing normally.
