Features: The lyric poetry about objects is an important genre in Song Ci (a type of classical Chinese poetry) and also a significant part of ancient Chinese literature that celebrates objects. In the history of Song Ci, there have been numerous masterful poets and famous works, making it a pinnacle of Song Ci. Modern critic Chen Feishi remarked: "Discussing the lyric poetry about objects is indeed the ultimate form of the fu style. Compared to other types of literature that celebrate objects, lyric poetry about objects is richer in artistic expression and truly represents the highest achievement of ancient Chinese literature that celebrates objects." In comparison to the great achievements of Song Ci lyric poetry about objects, academic research on this genre still appears relatively weak, lacking necessary theoretical foundations and macro-historical constructions, as well as in-depth systematic cultural analysis and interpretation. The paper was published under the title "A Historical Study of Song Ci Lyric Poetry About Objects" primarily because the historical analysis and cultural interpretation sections differ significantly in research approach and methodology, with distinct structural frameworks and writing styles. The historical analysis section reflects more mature thoughts and writing, making it capable of standing alone as a separate piece, while the cultural interpretation section is somewhat behind and requires further refinement in some areas. Therefore, the historical analysis part was published first, leaving the cultural interpretation of Song Ci lyric poetry for future expansion and improvement.
