Bank Credit Management (Second Edition)

Author: Jiang Qiwu
Publisher:
Publishing Date: 1994-06-01
Features: According to the basic requirements of China's economic transition to a socialist market economy, this book has been rewritten based on the relevant economic and financial regulations that have been promulgated, the actual development of bank credit business, international practices, and the trends in credit management. It highlights credit risk management and practical operations while consistently adhering to commercial credit principles. Considering that readers (mainly school-based undergraduate and college students) already have some understanding of commercial bank management, this book focuses more systematically on the allocation of bank credit funds and indirect financing relationships with various parties. The revision of the entire book was guided by Professor Jiang Qiwu and written by Professor Zhou Haowen. It aims to be easy to read and standardized in content. Due to the limitations of the authors, errors are inevitable, and we sincerely welcome readers' criticism and corrections.
In 1992, we undertook the task of writing the "Eight-Five" unified teaching materials for financial majors in universities and colleges across the country, titled "Bank Credit Management." It was published by China Financial Publishing House in June 1994 and has been reprinted six times so far. Over the past eight years, profound changes have occurred in China's economy and financial situation, making it necessary and urgent to revise the original book. This revision, in line with the basic requirements of China's economic transition to a socialist market economy, incorporates the relevant economic and financial regulations that have been promulgated, the actual development of bank credit business, international practices, and the trends in credit management. Most of the original content has been rewritten, emphasizing credit risk management and practical operations while consistently adhering to commercial credit principles.
