Features: As Chinese cities unfold with unprecedented momentum, a traditional agricultural society is transitioning toward an industrial and urban society. In this new era of urbanization in China, we propose ten new strategies for China's urbanization development:
(1) We advocate for creating a new core competitiveness for urban distinctive features;
(2) We advocate for a new ecological city concept based on harmony between humans and nature;
(3) We advocate for a new urban aesthetics and cultural concept focusing on urban details;
(4) We advocate for a new community life concept emphasizing interpersonal harmony in cities;
(5) We advocate for a new urban behavioral culture concept based on integrity;
(6) We advocate for a new regional strategy concept emphasizing regional cooperation and competition;
(7) We advocate for a new urban consumerism concept centered on urban cultural ecology and ethics;
(8) We advocate for a new circular urban society concept focused on developing a circular city society;
(9) We advocate for a globalized city concept emphasizing resource sharing;
(10) We advocate for a new urban service concept centered on full employment.
