Features: The Valan Poetry Collection addresses the poet's state, poetic scenes, and the words used for listening. In this era of scarce poetic spirit, Mr. Valan's ability to "sit in the world" in a simple and unadorned form while preserving the purity and authenticity of the poetic heart is astonishing and moving. Some of his exquisite poems remind us to remain vigilant against the world of the familiar; through renunciation and critique, the existence of poetry gains new direction and quality.
