Features: Due to novels, TV dramas, etc., or constrained by genre, writing themes, or incomplete reading, there is a significant amount of fictional content. Important historical facts are often omitted or incorrect, and what general readers usually obtain are fictional or distorted stories or impressions. As for the errors in the history of the Qianlong era, they are innumerable. Moreover, at times, the writing may be impure, not only risking the slander of the past but also being detrimental to the spiritual civilization construction of the present. All of these can easily lead readers' thinking astray. To follow the footsteps of the predecessors and contribute to popularizing historical knowledge about the Qianlong era, we wrote this book "A Correct Account of Qianlong" at the invitation of Shanghai Ancient Books Publishing House and dedicated it to the readers. The historical sections are mostly taken from my previous work "The Qianlong Emperor," and I have also occasionally commented on the errors and inaccuracies in novels and TV dramas.
