Features: This book is divided into two parts, each forming a separate volume. The upper part consists of Liu Shishi's poems and writings, while the lower part contains related documents. The upper part is based on fine copies, with version notes included at the beginning of each volume for reference. The lower part extensively cites ancient texts, using existing written materials. Every word or phrase is clearly attributed; if a cited work appears multiple times, an asterisk () is used to indicate that the original work is not available. The base text used for reference often contains variant characters or orthographic differences, which are transcribed as closely as possible to preserve the original form. Citations are roughly checked, with added words marked in square brackets〔〕and extra words in angle brackets《》. The "Biography of Liu Shishi" provides detailed evidence for Chen Zilong and Xie Sanbin's poems and writings, with all authors related to Liu Shishi included according to Chen's views, arranged in separate sections. Paintings, calligraphy, and artifacts by Liu Shishi are all recorded if available, for reference rather than scholarly analysis. As mentioned in the preface, this book is essentially an appendix to the "Biography of Liu Shishi," hence, events related to Liu Shishi found in Qian Qianyi's collected works are excluded. At the end of the upper part, Chen Yinque's poem is included as a tribute.
