Doctor's answer:

Hello:
Basal body temperature measurement: Start on the first day of your menstrual period and measure your temperature every morning before getting out of bed. Place the thermometer under your tongue and hold it for 5 minutes, then record the reading. Continue this until your next menstrual period. Normally, ovulation occurs around day 14 of your cycle. After ovulation, your temperature will rise by 0.3~0.5°C and remain elevated for about 12 days. If your temperature does not rise, rises slowly, lasts for a short duration, or does not rise by 0.3°C, it may indicate no ovulation or insufficient luteal function.
