How is candidiasis treated best?

Patient's question:

Clear pelvic inflammation
The cervix opening is a bit red
There are many molds, but it doesn't itch. The doctor said it should itch. What's going on? Is there any other bacteria? Have you encountered such a situation before? Please reply.

Doctor's answer:

Candidal vulvitis is an inflammation of the vulva caused by a yeast-like fungus. The most common pathogen is Candida albicans, which is an opportunistic pathogen and primarily causes endogenous infections.
Treatment:
1. Eliminate triggers. If diabetes is present, active treatment should be provided. Stop using broad-spectrum antibiotics, estrogens, and corticosteroid hormones promptly. Change underwear frequently, and boil used underwear, basins, and towels.
2. Medication: Rinse with a 2%–3% soda solution, gently dry, and place nystatin suppositories deep into the vagina, or apply nystatin cream to the vaginal walls. Use once daily or twice daily (morning and evening) for 10–14 days. 50%–80% of patients can be cured with this treatment. Those who cannot tolerate local medication may opt for oral drugs.
