Help Needed: Could you please advise if there are any issues? I am unsure if I am pregnant or if it could be threatened miscarriage?
Doctor's answer:
Biparietal diameter: You might not see biparietal diameter on your ultrasound report, but there might be a BPF listed. In fact, this BPF refers to the biparietal diameter. How is it measured? The doctor measures it based on the ultrasound image, specifically the longest part of the fetal head from left to right. This indicator has different normal ranges at different stages of pregnancy. At the same time, this indicator is one of the important factors for determining whether a vaginal delivery is possible. It can also be used to estimate the approximate weight of the fetus.Femur length: FL on the ultrasound report refers to the femur length. This is the length of the thigh.
Abdominal circumference: The circumference of the fetal abdomen.
Occipitofrontal diameter: The distance from the root of the nose to the occipital protuberance of the fetus. This indicator is often not displayed on ultrasound reports.
Head circumference: The circumference of the fetal head.
