What was the earliest method to determine if pregnant?

Patient's question:

Medical Description: Female, 29 years old. Menstruation from July 5th to July 12th. My menstrual cycle is not very regular, so I used an ultrasound to check ovulation, estimating it to occur around early August. Now it's August 14th, and I haven't had my period yet, which is already 2 days later than usual. How can I quickly determine if I'm pregnant?
History of Treatment and Effectiveness: On July 12th, I took a morning urine pregnancy test, but it was negative.
What Help I Need: Professional guidance on how to quickly determine if I'm pregnant, and how blood tests work.

Doctor's answer:

If your menstrual cycle is usually regular and suddenly stops, it often suggests you might be pregnant. Amenorrhea is the earliest and most important sign of pregnancy in women of reproductive age. In the second trimester of pregnancy, about half of women may experience early pregnancy symptoms such as decreased appetite, picky eating, aversion to greasy food, nausea, vomiting, bloating, constipation, dizziness, fatigue, and sleepiness. Severe cases may develop symptoms like dry mouth and dry skin, indicating dehydration.
The usage of early pregnancy test strips is as follows: Hold the urine dropper, and drop 3 drops of urine from a height of 3 cm above the urine well at the bottom of the test strip. The results of the test strip are:
Negative (-): Only one purplish-red band appears in the control area (C), and no purplish-red band appears in the test area (T). This indicates that you are not pregnant.
Positive (+): Two purplish-red bands appear—one in the test area (T) and the other in the control area (C). This indicates that you are pregnant.
Invalid: No purplish-red band appears in the control area (C), indicating incorrect operation or deterioration of the test strip.
